Privacy policy

This page explains which data we keep about you, why, and for how long. We keep it short and clear.

Who are we?

Which data, and what for?

• Request or contact (private party, drinks night, contact form): name, email address, phone number, date, number of guests and your message. We only use this to answer and arrange your request.
• Job application: name, email address, phone number, age, when you can work and your message. We only use this for your application.
• Downloading a photo: name and email address. Viewing the albums needs no data. Only if you tick "Yes, send me news and new photos" yourself do we add you to our mailing list. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link at the bottom of every email.

We don't store your request in your own browser. We never sell your data.

Who helps us with this?

We use a few services that process data on our behalf:

• Google Firebase: hosting this website and storing requests.
• Cloudflare: our mail service that forwards forms, and spam protection.
• Brevo: sending emails and the mailing list.
• Google Maps: only if you click "Show map" yourself. Google then sees your IP address.
• Instagram and Facebook: only if you click a link to our page yourself.

How long do we keep your data?

• Requests and contact messages: 12 months after our last contact.
• Job applications: 4 weeks after the procedure ends. With your consent, at most 1 year.
• Mailing list: until you unsubscribe.
• Data we must keep by law (such as invoices): 7 years.

Cookies

We currently use no tracking or advertising cookies. The site only stores a few small settings in your browser, such as your cookie choice. If we want to use analytics cookies later, we'll ask for your consent first.

Your rights

You may view, correct or delete your data. You may also object, restrict processing, have your data transferred and withdraw your consent at any time. Email us at info@zingit.nl. We reply within one month.

Complaints

Not happy with how we handle your data? Please tell us first. You can also file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
